ebay listings problem
 

Hi all,

I have gone onto one of my stealths which I have sold a couple of items on before and listed some products... it shows they have been listed but when I go into the search bar and type the item name to find the listing nothing appears?

I listed them about 2 days ago and I have just cancelled the listing and relisted and still cant see the new one..

Any ideas?

If e/b consider the item to be 'high risk' then the will be held for review and approval before being made live.

They could also be monitoring your account for 'other' reasons, you can never really tell what they are watching for

Several reasons I've found include listing on Sunday afternoon can delay the listing going live.

Category can 'hold' the listing.

As NoneOther said a possibility the account is being 'watched'.

Not sure I woud have cancelled the listings in case that too flagged the account.:smash:

Problem these days is finding the method to get the account 'going'.

Ok I cancelled them and relisted them and they were showing almost immediately!

Not sure what happened but seemed to have had this before on other accounts, sometimes takes 24 hours :)

Tread carefully

Cancelling them and re listing them would not withdraw the originals from a waiting review (if that was what was happening) and could make matters worse.

Nothing happens on e/b without there being a reason behind it.

If it is out of the usual for something to happen on one of your accounts then you are best to sit tight and see what happens before diving in and changing stuff around.

Actions like that make e/b very suspicious.

Its happened before on other accounts when you have too many capital letters in a title for a listing... doesnt actually list it, it holds until you revise it.

Try doing the whole listing with *CAPS, it wont list.

If only all things were so simple.
