Default How much should you make on new paypal account first month

Lets say you have a new ebay account with 100 items 5,000
but you have new paypal account.
Its very easy to sell 100 items on ebay and after you sell its 1-2k in your paypal account and when you withdrawal for $250 they call you and miss the call and your limited but your ebay account is fine.
Does paypal call you if you do withdrawals over $250? do this everytime, what the highest account you can withdrawal so they dont call? Since this happen to me once I am scared it going happen again.

What Should I sell the first month in sales?
I was thinking of having 5 accounts. And first month just sell under $800-1000 per account and never go 1,000 a month. And when i withdrawal every time it will be $100 a week per account. Is this a good way to stay under the radar?

Just start by selling slow, I wouldnt advise doing 800-1000$ on the first month.. I dont start selling for at least 2 months on each account however when I first started I needed accounts to sell on so I did start straight away but SLOWLY and if I do I will ALWAYS start with small items that cost nothing and would deem 'no risk' to eBay / PP.

There is no definitive answer - those figures you are quoting in your plan sound high though for a new account. But if they restrict you & ask for ID, proof of address invoices etc & you can provide them you'll be fine..

I don't like this bit 'i need to sell now not waiting' - makes me think your going to rush into this...

I think you are thinking too much about it. There is no rule at all. depends on what you sell and how much your info looks real to them. I can show you several 3 week old accounts on ebay that have over 3k in sales already selling $10-$50 items all day and night.

Just depends on what you sell. these guys sell in the industrial categories, selling stuff like cheap tools and car parts. used as well as new.

If you sell ipad and iphone stuff then its another story.

$100 per week would be safe in my estimation. PP can call on ANY amount. All the best.

How about paypal limiting an account that had the grand total of US$7.00....

Try to stop being silly.

There's no defined standard.

Action is based on paypal's reaction to an account. Perception of risk & they cover themselves.

This poster asks a lot of questions which is a good thing but when you respond to him and you dont tell him what he wants to hear he becomes defensive.

OP

Please stop the defensive when people are spending their time helping you. You do start a lot of threads and always get help but always seem to have a defensive comeback when someone tells you the truth.

No one can tell you a magic number. It is not there.

If you cannot handle building accounts over time then you need to find another place to sell your goods.

All of us have to wait like this on new accounts and you seem to think that you should get a special pass or something.

I have a massive amounts of stock and selling 10 items per month on new accounts is normal.

And for me I sell cheap yard sale junk on all new accounts to build it up. Hoping as I go they lift the limits or move then to 20-30-50 etc.

I'd say a single account that is new should be selling $100 to $200 max per week. If you sell $800-$1000 and max out the account your first week you are asking for trouble. The $100-$200 per week on a new account doesn't mean you can ignore the normal basics. Like listing only 1 item to start on a new account. Sell it and ship it before you list your next. Try not to sell and list too much before your first items are delivered and preferably have left positive feedbacks.

Thanks Biggunn for your help, i will take your suggestion.
Everything is usually fine with ebay, its paypal that limits if you miss there call after requesting a withdrawal.
I guess they called since i used the same windows account and delete cookies everytime i switch accounts . I guess they thought someone was withdrawaling. But now i use different windows user account and dont delete my cookies. I think missing the call make them look at my account and they sent email limited it asking
"We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved." since its stealth i have to wait 180 days,
Since i know this now, i will make sure i answer it my stealth phone and use one windows account per account so the flash/cookies stay there
