Well I got this e-mail. I used all the right methods and it's been months since I registered. Sold 1 item, then went to sell a broken xbox and a HD (both listed under $50) and now I got this to contact them within 48 hours.

From my reading they are going to want me to send ID info which of course I don't have...

So I'm I SOL? I've been waiting months so that I could list more, and not wait the 21 days. I'm so confused and losing so much money because I cannot sell. :(

How should I play my cards when I call? I'm going to block the number.

If it matters, I was using a special program that gives a different IP, basically like the book does but easier. Thinking it would work but maybe it didn't and linked my computer/IP somehow, and/or I think it's the electronics? (Even though it was $50)

What special program? If it's a VPN or VPS those do not work for stealth from what I've read.

Anyways yeah what GB said most likely from selling electronics, MC999 is really vague they hand these out like candy.

You could be overreacting, just gonna hafta wing the phone call. Be cool, act innocent, ask them questions if you don't have an answer off the top of your head. Have your info ready in front of you in when they ask for the stealth name, address etc. From my experience they only ask your name. Who knows what they want, it could very well be something really simple eg: all they want is to verify you are indeed the person selling the XBOX and you're free.

You know I called these days and this nice lady told me you did nothing wrong. You took excellent pictures, you described correctly, you have no feedback problems, but this is a new account with no feedback, but here at ebay we have had unauthorized access to many accounts lately so we are upping security and we just want to verify your the account holder so please answer some questions. Oops, how long have you been living at your address sir? About 30 years miss, why? Because I can't pull up any records from that address for some reason. Ok, so what can I do? Well fax in your documents and you should be fine. Ok miss, thanks! Bye.

So now you know documents are needed 99% of time now if your address is not in public records. How do you find yourself in public records? Make sure the address exist!

They said they couldn't match my info (personal info) on a public database. Seems it's getting harder and harder. So they suspended my account forever.

So I guess I can't use the CC and paypal I was using before for a new acct? :smash:

Correct you can't reuse any information from the old account on your next stealth account. The purpose of all new stuff is so they think you are a complete different person.
