Canadian Paypal Limited - Confirm Address
 

Alright, here's the deal. I have a Canadian eBay and paypal account. The Paypal account had gotten limited due to a purchase I tried to make with the account and it is asking me to verify address. The first 2 checklists I have completed, but the last one is the one where you have to add a credit card or manually verify the address with a utility bill etc. I have now tried 2 supposed AVS VCC's which have not worked to lift the limitation. It always says "you did not add a credit card, phone verification canceled."


So, I need some help. It will let you change the address, but since it is a Canadian account, you have to add a Canadian address. You cannot buy Canadian gift cards in the United States, but I wouldn't mind going to Canada to get one if I need to, it's only about 4 hours away. Does anyone with a Canadian paypal account have experience with removing this type of limitation? What Canadian gift cards can you use? Also, for the phone verification, I heard you could have your cell phone just forwarded to a land line...but I am not aware of any such services to do that. Anyone that could provide some assistance with these issues I would sincerely appreciate. Thanks in advance!

the limitation got lifted but the account went down for other reasons. Your AVS VCCs did not work?

The account went down because I had tried to but something from walmart using this paypal account...was successful for a lower amount item, not as successful for the higher amount item. ={

Can anyone please help me here? None of the moderators have responded to the posts or pm's or posts here. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd sure appreciate it.

they are probably away for the easter holiday (since everyone else in the world gets a 4 day holiday and we in the US dont, lol)

if you want to buy with your stealth account that you do not have access you can find the item you need nearest you,ask the seller if it's possible to pick up the item.Pay via stealth paypal and pick up your stuff....Works perfectly i tried a few times.Yes you probably will pay a little bit more but you do not have to worry about shipping..

Yes...it is still asking for a "credit card." The VCCs will not work. I hope I am not going to have to do the utility bill thing because I wouldn't have any Canadian bill templates to photoshop. I think I may have to go to Windsor and get a gift card there. I would definitely like to avoid that though if at all possible.

How far are you from Windsor?
