Canton Fair - Finding Non-Vero Items

So, I was looking into making a legitimate business and stop with the VeRo.

What would you guys say is the best way to do this? Is it profitable to the extent of having it be your main income? Anyone going to the canton fair to get some ideas/know about any other fairs that are good for this kind of thing?

Information please, looking to start a new life here through the methods found. Thanks

Yeah I want to go completely legit as well. It's hard work though and takes much more time. You can work a few hours a week and make more then a 9-5 minimum wage job selling counterfeit merch on just one account.

It's going to take you at least 5 times the amount of time and effort to do the same with legit inventory, at least in the beginning. It's absolutely possible though and soon your sales will go into auto-mode and things will get easier.

I have a legit account selling purely wholesale jewelry, it's tough with the selling limits I have but it makes money. Getting jewelry for pennies that people here in the states will buy for a couple dollars, I put more work into this account then all my other accounts together.

Keep this in mind though, there's not much headache involved dealing legit. No worrying about seizures, refunds, vero takedowns, acc suspensions, neg feedback etc...

@jambs, is the jewelry tailormade?

There are thousands of trade shows all over the country for new products.

But trade show in the US would be a middle man - you need to go to the source

Not all.

Many manufacturers of products do their own trade shows in the US.

Can someone explain the process of getting into a trade show? I am interested in going to a couple but do you need certain documentation to go

In most cases you have to show a vendors or business license. Either local, state or federal showing you are in business.

Now, you must then get book keeper or attorney to make sure you file your proper taxes etc.

Reason why many wont go that route because they do not want to go through that process.
