Paypal issue important
 

Tried to add a santander savings account to my paypal account today, and was told :

"paypal accounts are no longer accepting accounts from that bank, please provide another bank account"

is it possible that paypal are now trying to tighten the net of
accounts from various banks, and will only accept certain banking accounts from now on, and not accept savings accounts to verify
a paypal account????

This was new to me never had a problem before......

They can't tell from a sort code and account number whether it is a current or savings account and I would doubt very much if they are not accepting Santander bank accounts any more.

Have you used this particular savings account previously on either e/b or p/p?

I got a similar message once. I tried again and it worked.

Paypal might reject a savings account. They would have untold troubles to stop the use of a specific bank.

Double check the account has not been used B4. :juggle:

If you register the account as a checking account, PP will never know the difference.
