New Restriction on Listing on ebay
 

I tried listing an item which i sold few days ago but now ebay doesnt let me list it again .The message comes you have reached your limit of listing in this category for the month.
tried with different categories still dont work .

what the hell is going on can anyone enlighten me?????

Category selling limits have been around for quite some time now.

Don't under any circumstances list it under another category either as this will almost definitely lead to your account being suspended, they don't like that one bit.

As NoneOther wisely stated, your account has had a category limit placed. Since the account seems new, do NOT call up eb and try to push or you risk being hit with verification or, worse, banned.

Also do NOT try to circumvent the system and list in other categories to bypass...if eb finds out, your toast.

I think its a new system that they have implemented they will not let you list it in the first place so to avoid all the mess with suspended accounts people calling in blah blah..they just stop you at the very first step..I tried it many times to list in different category it won't just get listed and same message..account is solid as of now.no messages from em etc..

Yes prob the lesser of two evils - either 1) limit listing or 2) suspend and hit with verification. Go with option 1) and make more accounts to spread as you build rep.

I have an account wiht 700fb, and I tried selling in a new category (completely unrelated to what I was selling before) and got this same message after 3 sales.

Happens in all kinds of category - no prior sales in that category = new seller account to that category.

What I do is just list it in a similar or like category that kinda goes with that product.

Use keywords in your headline wisely etc.
