Paypal account limited/ebay account suspended
 

Hiya everyone,

my first stealth account has been suspended again after about 3 weeks of creating it.

I recieved a message from ebay saying:

"We have limited your eBay account as a precaution because our review of your account has identified an issue regarding its safe use.

As part of our efforts to provide a safe and secure environment for the online community, we regularly screen account activity. We never share exactly what gave us reason to place limitations on an account as this information could assist an individual, who may present a safety risk, avoid such limitations.

Please understand we're not accusing you of dishonest behaviour. Our top priority is to keep our online community safe, which is why we'd like to ask you for some further information.

If, once we review your further information, we're confident that the use of your account does not present a safety risk to our service and customers, we'll be happy to reinstate your account.

Here's what you need to do to resolve the limitations:

1. Log into your PayPal account.
2. Click on the 'Account' tab.
3. Click on the sub-tab 'Resolution Centre'.
4. Go to the 'Action' column.
5. Click on the 'Resolve' button to view the requirements and follow the instructions provided.

After we have gathered the necessary information, we'll review your account and notify you by email of our decision.

Please note that any selling fees owed to eBay may become due and payable

We thank you for your prompt attention to this important matter."

they also sent another message at the same time:

Your item(s) have been ended due to concerns we have for the safety of the eBay community. Any fees associated with these listings have been credited to your account.

As a precautionary measure, we have also restricted selling activity on your account. We will send you a separate email containing further details of the action taken against your account and instructions on how to have your selling limit increased.

the last final message ebay sent was:

right, my paypal account is now limited, they reversed the bank transfer of £200 I wanted to transfer in my bank account

Also, in order to begin a limitation review, it says I have to:

provide photo ID,

Proof of address,

Provide invoices,

supplier contact info

the problem is, I am using my neighbours address so I cannot get provide proof of address.

I am in a bad position my ebay account was going so well then BANG! I get the bad ebay messages.

I think I have been linked due to a message one of my buyers sent me.

I told my buyer to send the return package to 72 not 73 door number, from there I think paypal checked there systems and found out that 72 was a suspended ebay/paypal account.

My main concern is gettting access to my money,

I have roughly £500 in that account :(:(:

I aplogize for a long message but I really need help I would really really apreciate the time you take to read the message above and to reply back.

You should be more concerned if your neighbour is unaware that you have used their address

Paypal is currently placing temporary hold on 10 transactions for reviewing.

My concern is, will I be able to withdraw my money or not?

That is my main worry tbh :(

Can someone please help me I would apreciate the time you take to read and reply.

Your seriously listed all that on a 3 week old account ? If you get no claims or charge backs they will release the funds in 180 days usually

So basically I have no access to that money until 6 months :(

I have to provide documents as I stated above such as; photo I D, proof of address and so on..

Obviously due to being a stealth account, I don't have access to the address I am using on the ebay/pp account...

You can TRY to de-limit by following all the steps but to be brutally honest, those monster and dr. dre stuff is VERY high risk and could be looked at as potentially trouble. I am fairly sure you will just have to wait.

woah...on an account THAT new....I HIGHLY doubt that it will be unlimited....

Even Well established accounts do not list THAT much....

How many units did you sell in the 1st three weeks. Just wondering how your limits where so high at first?

No access to an address

Communicating with a buyer for a return via ebay messages.

Listing that sort of item in that any numbers is simply fatal.:doh:

The quicker option is tell paypal you are not comfortale aout giving them info.
Get the clock going for the 180 day release to happen

I agree with avery point you mentioned :(

I got desperate to sell all my stock and it was going all so well,

I got adviced to ring up ebay and confirm my details and apparently they will then get my account back to normal.

About the address, I do not have access to any address that I can gain access to, what other options are there as customers returning goods will be my concern which it was for the stealth account that I was using..

There are dozens if not hundreds of threads with suggestions and solutions for alternative addresses and how to use them. Try using the search function.

What you are doing is very, very wrong and puts innocent people at risk, the neighbours address that you used is now on p/p and e/b's 'blacklist'.

In fact what you have done could even be criminal if your neighbour was unaware or denies that you had permission.

I just want access to my money and dont want to want 6 months *sigh*

cant I ring up ebay and confirm my details so they can contact paypal to delimit funds so i can withdraw :(

I now have to make another stealth account this is stressing me out :(

I doubt very much if you will get your money any sooner than 6 months

i tried to withdraw £200 to my bank account the day before it got suspended.

However, paypal reversed the transaction :mad2:

In the same boat as you--I have tried everything this past couple of weeks and have got nowhere--I am resigned to waiting the 6mtns now.

Never post exactly what you are selling or the item numbers etc.

You have to remain private with your business/names etc.

Listing those items on a new account of course is a no no.

Do you have backups up and running yet?

And of course do not sell those items.

You might have to wholesale them to someone if you need the funds.

Otherwise you will just get limited again and again.

Always have backups going and cycle sales.

I am stupid, I didnt think to make other stealth account while selling on 1 account.

I have soo much stock left in my house which stresses me out.

Its money sitting there :(

I wanna start selling again but I want to sell the same products I did in the start ssuch as the dre beat headphones.

I got caught out in about 3 weeks becuase I was selling crazt about 4 units every 2 days.

what would you guys suggest I should do ?

sell the same thing but quietly such as 2 units every 3 days?

and btw, I sell in auction format not BIT.

Likelihood is that you will end up with the same outcome if you sell the same stuff again.

:( but I make profit so fast with these products,

other items have high competition such as the gaming accessories, electronics and so on...
