Bank account from 7 year old paypal account
 

Hi,

Do paypal keep bank account details from very old limited/closed paypal accounts (2004/5)?

I know i have read in these forums that they keep track of information such as names and addresses etc since 1997 but is this the same for financial information such as bank accounts?

Asking as i dont really want to open more bank accounts at the moment so wanted to use an existing one.

Think about what you wrote..................

You are thinking of using an old bank account attached to a limited paypal on a new (stealth) paypal.

Any of that seem ........................... (fill in the blanks).

They keep ALL data for EVER, especially that of limited accounts.

For you to succeed today you will have to find a bank or another way to withdraw funds.

No way around it.

Anything form a goner account gets caught.

If you work on two premises that 1. all info is stored forever and 2. any old info that has resulted in a failed account should NEVER be used again, you should be good on the registration aspect of pp/eb.

thanks for the replies, i wasnt sure whether they were aloud to carry on storing financial data for so long on account which were no longer being used.

If you do business with anyone for any reason in most cases you are allowed to keep records as long as you like.

I have ebay buyers records from the last 12-13 years.
I have ebay sellers who are competition from the last 12-13 years.
