Specific Paypal issue re: old Paypal/New eBay...HELP Please :)
 

I have tried to read as much as I could in the last few days (THANK YOU FOR THIS FORUM!!!!!)...and I am sure it is somewhere on here, but I haven't found it & I'm out of biz & STRESSED, so any help would be SOOOOO appreciated!!

I had multiple eBay accts...4 out of 5 have been suspended in quick succession. I also had 2 Paypal accts. 1 was connected to 3 suspended accts. That one got the "Dear John...you're F'd" letter. My other Paypal was linked to 1 suspended acct & 1 non-suspended acct. It amazingly was reinstated, but the suspended eBay acct it was linked to will never be reinstated. Odd, but exciting cause at least I got my $1300 out.

My question is...Will linking this potentially contaminated Paypal eventually lead them to suspend my new eBay accts I am in the process of setting up? I am reading up on merchant accts on this forum & hoping to figure out via the info I find how to never accept payments via {Paypal, but use it only to have the priveledge of opening up a new eBay acct. Also, if I open multiple eBay accts using different email accts all linked to one Paypal acct -again, hoping to never accept payments via Paypal- will that eventually lead to or expedite eBay suspension?

I apologize for my newbie-ness. I am trying to figure it all out...but those of you will years of experience spanking eBay are A. my idols and B. have SOOO much knowledge & I really need your help. Thanks a million in advance for any advice :)

Yes, you'll want to create a fresh Paypal account per eBay account. That's what is linking your accounts.

Using the same Paypal account for multiple eBay accounts WILL link your eBay accounts together.
