Default Best time to lift limit £1900 on PP UK

Does anyone know a best time to lift the £1900 limit on UK (as in send docs).

I have had some accepted some rejected - some accepted with £3000+ in the PP account and some rejected which have just reached the limit.

Anyone think its best to lift ASAP - within first 3 months? or wait till account has matured and reached £1900 limit.

Thanks in advance!

As soon as you know you will be selling up to and beyond the £1900 limit.

In fact paypal actively encourages sellers to remove their limits right from the start....

I've posted about this recently.

Do it as soon as you want. :D

Personally I think it depends on how strong you think your account is i.e. will it pass muster on ID etc. If it fails ID from the outset you've wasted a bank account without having any income through it.

Sometimes pulling in £1650 over a reasonable period and then letting it 'rest' for a while is a good thing to do.

Having an account or two in reserve is never a bad thing.

I agree with None, rack in the money first before 1900 limit - and then possibly think about lifting the money up, ID can be tricky sometimes i guess it depends what clown looks at your ID.

Risk vs. reward has to be considered too. Are your products high risk? If not - could consider having docs ready and getting the account solidified. If you figure your products could be deemed risky, prob just to lift limit and do what needs to be done knowing that your account go could down at any time and no amount of documents will save it.

Had an account the other day got to £1750 sent in docs at 10pm it was lifted at 4.30am only 6 hours later! I think they concentrate on quickly lifting the accounts that are about to hit the £1900 limit as they want them to carry on giving PP their cut.

Just from what I have seen
