eBay asking identity confirmation on login
 

Anyone experience this before??

When am trying to login one of my stealth, I click submit then eB asking identity confirmation

Yes standard from ebay is a user is signing from a different computer.

Although it is a bit of a shock it's ebay protecting the account.

Do you clear cookies when you sign off?

Did you use a different computer from the normal one?

How have you set up your accounts ( including your O/S )

Yes - a lot depends on cookies.

Guessing you cleared your cookies or changed computers.

You need to be ready to send them docs because that is what is coming.

No it isn't, this isn't a guarentee or anything close to it. You just have to establish more browsing histories, and don't list anything risky right away.

I had this happen a few times for a couple accounts I didn't have to send in any docs

All I said was be ready.

You need to be prepared to do this on all accounts just in case.

Others have posted they cleared their cookies ( didnt know any better ) and got nailed with the docs.

Am using one PC with multiple login for each eB. Am sure not the cookies, because they stored separately.

Only 1 account asking identity confirmation, the rest is fine. Currently running 20 eB in this PC.

Win 7 + dynamic IPs

Update; I found it, sometimes my modem's ip not changing after restart.

That's a VITAL step of your stealth practise you have not done.

Having that many accounts, you must endeavor to check IPs B4 using accounts.
