21 Day Hold Paypal Shipping Problem
 

Ok so I've had this account for over a year now, and for some reason the assmunches at Paypal decided I deserved a 21 day hold again for some reason, so now all of my payments are held 21 days.

Problem is before I though it was only the payment for the item was on hold and I could access the shipping funds. That is not the case.

I only had $22.00 in "active" money in my account and now $440.00 in "pending". I used all the $22.00 and I still have 4 items to ship out and can't pay for shipping!!! How do I change it back to wear eBay holds the money but allows me access to the shipping funds? This is pissing me off, I have no idea how long it is going to be before I can ship this stuff now!

All you have to do is get a moneypak or what I usually do is just send money from another paypal, even easier.

In the UK you can buy your shipping labels from Royal Mail's website direct. Don't USPS have something similar?

No need for p/p postage until you have some fb from buyers and a reasonable 'cleared fund' working capital on the account.

Yes you can print and ship via usps.com or just go to the post and add tracking. Not quite sure what the problem is. Unless you are saying that you dont have the money to ship those 4 items. :boink:

Moneypak is good - a valid cc would also work if I recall correctly - as for sending money from diff pp, would work too but you have to do this carefully.

Some of my ebay accounts don't have to option to be charged for shipping later on when funds are released.

Or maybe they do, however they still try to take the money out on the spot. In which case it get's declined by the VCC, since there isn't enough in the paypal balance.

I had this problem for one of my stealth accounts. It's bs how they won't let you use a small portion for shipping. In my situation I just went to the post office on my usual run and sent it manually.

Not sure what the big deal is, unless like above said you don't have any money at all to ship which is unlikely unless you're dead broke. In that case how the hell did you get 4 items worth $400+ or an even better question how have you been on eB for over a year now and have no money at all...?

Yea investigating my accounts with holds it seems so random. Some take wont use funds for shipping on hold and other do not. Only one account gives me the option to chose prior to printing. Same ol ebay.

No offense, but if you cant afford to ship something your not running your stealth good at all and should get a real job.

vigiliant- Are you shipping through Paypal or Ebay. I know that if I ship through Ebay there is an option that says "Pay for shipping now" or "Wait till money clears".

Or something to that effect...

So which one are you shipping though?
