Evening all,

Got my PayPal, eBay, email now set up.

I have to add my new bank account to PayPal.

Now I have reimaged a laptop with xp, created admin account, set up second account in the name of the eBay account, installed Firefox, got a 3G dongle for when I log into PayPal, ebay( is this the only time I need to use the dongle?)

Now going to go on eBay and browse some items, maybe watch some and put a few bids and buy some minor stuff I actually need. To fund these purchases should I just transfer funds into my new bank account and then transfer into PP?

Just another question, I have an app on my phone that I use to monitor eBay, pocket auctions for eBay, can I still use this with my new accounts?

So i have a dedicated sim card for this account now and will only use it for this account.

I went to add my bank account and left the name as the account and added my brand new account number and sort code. Do i have to enter the amounts that get debited and will this setup a direct debit as surely the mismatch in names will block a dd being set up?

Yes you have to add the deposit amounts to verify the p/p account.

It depends on which bank you used as to whether the dd mandate will be rejected due to name mismatch.

Surely you researched suitable banks before doing anything?

Yeah, i used one from the list but just my head thinking how things should work in a perfect world, pkus not wanting Salmonds stormtroopers breaking down my front door for fraud.

What prepaid cards are there in Scotland(edinburgh) that can be used with a stealth account?
