I don't think any merchant can see the address (on the bank) maybe only can confirm it but not see it!

Can`t see address on transfer of funds from bank to pp /confirmed - can see the name of the holder (if not whole, then partial) since a receipt is generated. Again, this does NOT mean that negative action can be taken - just something to be aware of.
