VPN issues

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on purchase an eBay & PP acc from the states, and I'm located in Australia. Just wondering if VPN would be ok to use?

Thanks!

Probably not.

There are major issues using VPN especially with p/p.

Try searching some previous threads for more info.

I did went through many previous threads, but the seller told me VPN is the way to go. That's why I'm really confused, and want to make it clear before I get back to eBay.

Was the seller of the accounts authorised on this site?

VPN on e/b and p/p is usually an account killer.

All the major vpn IP ranges are well known to e/b & p/p and this that are not are picked up pretty quickly by them.

I/m pretty sure if you had read enough threads on here you would see that the overwhelming consensus is not to use vpn unless it's private or betters still a vps.

It's up to you but I'd bet your accounts will last no time at all until you get an ID request or worse still a permanent limitation.

Yes, that's what I was worried about. So a VPS would work?

Yes, there have been reports of success with vps but with e/b and p/p it's hard to know how long these will last once they start to gather the IP ranges they work on. It's not hard for them to find out.

I would steer clear of VPN usage in relation to EB/PP.:faint:

yep, steer clear. :mod:
