Bit Confused on PP Verify
 

hi all, have been mucking around on creating some ebay accounts, i have a virgin superhub so ip is the same, but i put details in for my uncle and all were correct but paypal asked for faxed docs, only thing different was DOB, same for my friend who was sat with me while i done it, everything was correct but still asked for faxed docs, then tried with my neighbour and went through fine.

So why not the 1st two but the 3rd was fine when all details were correct ?

Is it the IP Address as the 1st and 2nd where about 5 miles from where i live ??

Any help would be appreciated

If you are using the same IP creating all 3 accounts then in theory you are linked and they know all the accounts have been made by the same person.

You cannot 'muck around' creating stealth accounts.

All you have done is created 3 useless accounts and in all probability a lifetime block for the unfortunate people who's names and addresses you have used.

i realised that, hence why i chose those people, they dont even have computers as they are of the older generation, so they will never ever go on ebay.

Am buying a 3G dongle tomorrow so the IP will not stay the same

You've already used the same IP address to create the accounts the linking already exists.

BTW did you have permission to use their details?

Hi Noneother yes i did, i certainly would not dream of doing something like that without them knowing, both my friend and my neighbour were with me when i done it

So its basically the IP address, even at the early stage of making a new account ??

So it will flag right away for the same IP address ?

Even more so at the point of making the accounts. It will be one of the first things that will be checked.

Even with their permission you will still have ruined their chance of ever having an e/b or p/p account if the accounts you have made using their info are limited.

You've accidently made errors. Being too eager to make stealth often fails.:rip:

Have you made your excel sheet for starters?

I would definitely recommend you read around the subject more before any further in the field escapades.:D

you need to set up a new user in addition to a different ip before doing so.
