Paypal Pending

Ok, I did a withdrawal on the 29th April...

To this day it is still showing as 'pending'..

1. Why would this be?
2. How do I go about getting it to completed?

Also, do you have to have a CREDIT / DEBIT CARD added for the withdrawal to go to COMPLETED?

Thanks

Not really anything you personally can do to get it to complete and you don't need to have a card attached just a fully verified bank account.

NoneOther - Thanks for the quick reply. Have you ever experienced this? If so, whats the longest you have waited?

I've had a couple like that over the years but they all went through ok eventually, usually a day or so late.

Callidus 05-02-2012 03:22 PM

I mean I put it through Sunday, so latest it should be end of this week if it doesn't go through then, there is surely a problem!

It could mean that the withdrawal is being manually reviewed.

Unless there is something untoward about it it should go through ok.

Starting a withdrawal on a Sunday (non working day) means that it will not usually start to be processed until Monday, so only two days ago.

I never initiate withdrawals on a weekend, always during business days.

I reckon they might look at weekend withdrawals a bit more closely, might seem your in a hurry to get the cash out.

I've had some withdrawals show as pending for anything between 24 and 72 hours after initiating the withdrawal.

This tends to be for the faster withdrawals though - ha! faster withdrawals which have been known to take longer than the bog standard withdrawals!

To be honest though, I've learnt that a faster withdrawal just draws attention to yourself and prompts a manual review, whereas a standard withdrawal has more chance of slipping under the radar and making it into your bank account.

4-7 business days is best to wait.
