Paypal requests?

As in the title. Once you start selling over a certain volume, is it inevitable that your account will be limited and you get Paypal asking for everything but the kitchen sink? Or can you get avoid this if you sell more gradually?

ive only ever had one in 8 years and that was my own faut lol

Elijah 05-03-2012 02:38 PM

they_screwed_me_too 05-03-2012 02:39 PM

a suppliers order was delayed and items went out late

a few people opened cases and they wanted proof of ownership

Providing you never give them cause to question your business model or selling practices then the answer is no.

As has already been said if buyers start to complain about goods arriving late or not at all then you will be asked for supplier info.

That reply is too unspecific. My question was effectively if there is such a things as selling too much/fast.

You appear to be saying that there is no such thing as too much/fast as long as customers are happy and you ship fast? Is that right?

Not necessarily inevitable but you must be prepared to be asked for supplier ID/related documentation at any point in your relationship with PP. Aside from volume of sales, I'd imagine they'd look at other types of metrics such as the type of items you are selling, your delivery times, that the basic confirmation/verification processes are already undertaken. Numerous factors along these lines.:ballchain:

No. This risk of additional information request pertaining to your PP A/C remains for the duration of your relationship with PP.:tears:

Not unspecific at all.

Too much too fast depends on what you are selling, it's value, it's risk in the eyes of p/p and as I said how well you run your business.

It is not inevitable that high volume sellers will be asked to provide everything.

As a previous poster has already said they have had it once in 8 years and I have had it once in 10 years.
