Hi. When I was setting up my E bay and Pay pal accounts so I got email notifications on G mail and only this time I found out the "Ask before displaying external content" wasn't selected by default.

As long as I haven't opened the email from E bay (and Pay pal?), web beacons didn't load, right? It only loads everytime you open the email?

But, I have opened the email from Pay pal.

Another question:
Is it safe to log on different G mail accounts using same IP address/user account as long as Web Beacons disabled from loading? E bay can't get your IP address and cookies? What about Pay pal?

Is G mail fine with user logging on multiple accounts one after the other with different personal information? Or, they may get suspicious monitor your account activity and read your emails even delete your account eventually?

As long as external images are disabled then it is ok to open the email.

Similarly they cannot get your IP address or read cookies as long as the external content is disabled so it is ok to check email from the same IP address

So, to be clear...just don't open emails from ebay & paypal?

Open your emails with gmail but make sure that you have "show images" turned off for use on web or smartphone.

What about selecting to receive emails in text and not html?

what if with the case the email has been opened before then you logged on G mail with new IP address/user account (the show external link not disabled yet)...as long as you dont open that email no problem, right? web beacons load only WHEN you OPEN the email from E bay, when not disabled in the Settings.

Yes - ONLY when you open the e-mail, not when in list format of the email platform.

I open emails all the time and never click on any link ever.

Also have everything disabled and ever am I logged into eb or pp when I do this unless I have double checked my IP and make sure it matches the account info etc.
