after giving paypal my phone number should i verify it?
 

i created a paypal stealth account today. i gave paypal my google voice phone number which forwards to my home land phone. i listed the phone number as a mobile phone number.

now paypal is giving me the choice or verifying this phone number that i gave them. or i can chose not to verify it. it is up to me. all i need to do is check a box which says the phone number is my own and then click a tab to verify the phone number. i could not find any information in the forums about whether or not to verify the number after giving it to paypal.

please let me know if i should verify the mobile number or just leave things as they are.

another question. is it a good ideal to wait until a paypal account if fully verified before creating a ebay stealth account. i am still waiting on the ebay depost to show up on my banking information. so i thought i would wait until i verify paypal before creating the ebay account. is this the best thing to do or should i go ahead and create the ebay account now. thanks.

that's for paypal mobile you can ignore that unless you are going to use mobile.

it's ok to create ebay while waiting for paypal to be verified but don't turn it into a sellers account until your pp is all confirmed and verified good luck!

Agree with oge on this principle.

I also agree but I have sold on accounts without verifying and so far so good.

Just testing so dont take the risk if you dont have to.

For me I listed a few things on a non verified account and was ok.

As far as the phone issue I am getting calls ( more then normal ) after I withdraw money so have your phones handy when you withdraw.
