vpn doesn't work
 

i tried creating an amazon stealth account,
but it didn't work....
apparently using a vpn doesn't work (and i provided all new info.)

does vps work?

VPS is infinitely better than the VPN option.

VPS's are getting canned too.

My only issue with dial-up is that you'll be getting the IPs from the same pool, which means all accounts must be registered as living in the same city or geolocation pass will fail.

Which is another flag.

Why do you think VPN does not work? OpenVPN has been a godsend for me.

I will say that I dont worry so much about IPs but that`s me.

Can't you dial into different cities?

VPN/VPS are OK but ONLY if your provider is not known to them. eBay and Amazon have the IP ranges of the larger providers. They don't like people using them as they think you are trying to hide something.

I myself use dial up as well.
I find that paying for unlimited long distance is totally worth it as it allows me to use pretty much any city/state combo I want when building my accounts.
IMHO its the safest way to do things.

you can use the following services such as Proxies/VPN/VPS/SSH as long as the IPs are DEDICATED. note that getting a Dedicated IP from a well-known service is NOT a good idea because a lot of people have been using the service and the IP range looks very similar to the others. In addition, You may get the same IP from a pool which could be used by someone else before you.

It won't matter if the IP is dedicated IF the vendor's IP ranges are known to eBay/PayPal/Amazon.

But your idea of using smaller providers IS the smarter way to go, since there is less of a chance of being on their radar.

I make use of a long distance plan for North American access.

Never had any problem with VPS.

You need to find a small-time VPN provider. It's also best to ask them "What is the ISP of the VPN"?

If you're logging onto PayPal from something such as WEB HOSTING SOLUTIONS, LLC, that might be a red flag. You want to get a VPN whose netname looks at least mildly residential and not swarm for VPNs and VPS'.
