Got a message I am suspended for at least 6 months,.

anyone ever get reinstated after 6 month?

What did you get suspended for ? That may determine the answer.

We take several things into consideration before we suspend an account, including account history and any previous actions.

Members are not allowed to use images or text from another member's listings without that member's permission. Doing so may violate copyright laws. Images used on another website may also be protected by copyright law. You should not copy and use images from another website without first getting permission to use that content. We encourage members to take and use their own photographs.


Because of your suspension, all your current listings were removed and any remaining account fees are due immediately. We'll use your current billing method to pay for those fees.

You can't use eBay in any way during your suspension. If you do, you could be suspended indefinitely. You also can't register a new account or use another existing account.

During your suspension, you can't:
- Bid on or buy items
- Sell items
- Leave or receive feedback
- File for an unpaid item credit

So eB wrote this - yes I would say you have a good chance of getting reinstated after 6 months - you can keep buying but go light with the account.

Sounds like maybe they are trying to get fees....

Only takes 5 minutes to do your own photos and write a description.

Hopefully a lesson learned, albeit the hard way.

Says the account can't be used at all:

If you had 32,000 items listed I would check thoroughly that you're not being charged for any services they are not now providing you and have a discussion with them about what can be done.

If you can be bothered, try talking to them about the mistakes you admit to making for convenience's sake and tell them how you didn't realise - always worth talking to them. I mean, it could be argued that 32000 original photos might be difficult and maybe you had permission to use those other photos etc ...

just make sure you have all your ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details to hand and known backwards, no incorrect caller ID etc etc

Else just wait 6 months whilst using other ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts.

Oh I forgot the part about not using. Hmm maybe just light browsing to keep it active.
