Default Picture data on eBay listing

Hi guys ,

I took a picture with my phone for an eBay listing where I take ALL my photos.

I added 1 of the pictures to an eBay listing without removing the EXIF data.. is this account toast?

Thanks

Spooky! (rsot must be online )

Just did a similar thing....

Way I see this is it is like using the incorrect IP one time only.

Used a stock photo. Account is otherwise in good standing.

There's a recent post by slapped . He gave some info on this, davey .
I'll look for the post & not panic yet

Hmm I thought about that with the IP issue but wasn;t sure.

If I was to relist now as I took the listing down immediately, with the EXIF data removed I i'm hoping it will be fine.

Yes please post and I will have a read

Its the small tags that are in the metadata of the picture that can POSSIBLY link you to other accounts if you take all photos with the same equipment and dont clean it before uploading to multiple stealths

Thats strange you haven't heard about it, its one of the first things I learnt about here from a post a long time ago.. yes might be worth starting to do it for ALL pictures now.
