I did something wrong...
 

Hi!

I´ve been using multiple account,with multiple MAC OS user accounts, and switching the ip (three mobile uk tethering from a smartphone) every time I change to other account...

In my main MAC OS account I keep my main ebay account logged and I´ve been always connecting from the same IP: adsl provider´s router what almost never is reset, so the IP keep the same. So I use one IP (keep the same) for my main account and multiple IPs (3g connection) for the rest.

But now, I think I made a mistake, I usually check the mail of ALL of these accounts through the Mail manager (mac os) in my main account. I NEVER opened any link, but I didn´t disable the images or something like that ( I even don´t know how to do this)

Now, everything is working ok as any account has been suspended... The question is Can I have problems if that happens? Do you think my accounts could be linked for this reason?

Apple Mail is not secure for using multiple accounts. If you reply to any email from within Apple Mail it will include the IP address of the main account in the email header.

Providing you have images disabled and do not click on any links then it will work ok for monitoring and reading mail from all accounts but DO NOT reply to any email other than the main account itself.

Now I researched how to disable mail images... I was wondering... as I´ve been opening mails with images enabled from multiple accounts, should they linked me?

Just to clarify noneother- I log on to an eb stealth account, and READ ONLY messages via gmail under the same IP for another stealth account-as long as pics/ images are disabled it will not link the accounts?

I have not had an issue with gmail by doing this.

Never click on any link inside an email no matter what.

I switch around and check emails all day long and dont have a problem and have never been linked for doing it.

Hi Sandy, but you never know if you are linked until one of your accounts is suspended, right?

easytiger is talking about a different operating system, not Apple.
