How to call eBay?
 

So, if I ever need to call ebay how would I do it? All the numbers I have access to are already linked to an ebay acc. and *67 doesnt work on 800 numbers, right? And google voice numbers still show the phone number for that phone, it doesn't show up as the GV number.

What should I be using to call ebay?

I added a new cellphone to my existing plan for $10 per month. Or, a prepaid phone.

On what grounds are you calling ebay?

OR more to the point, why are you NOT using a working phone number?

Not going to hear the rubbish of the number beig attached to the moon or wherever.

It's a simple fact a safely working ebay account should have a phone number.:violin:

Open a new skype act, use all stealth details, pay with a VCC.

UK is £10 minimum to charge/add credit - dunno bout US.

Well, Im Pretty sure that you wont be calling that often,,so on that odd day that you need to call you can: Use a Friends Phone,,,,,Get a Prepaid SIM card that is compatible with your Cell Carrier, and swap with the SIM in your Phone when you need to call Ebay,,,Just have a Tracphone solely for that purpose,,,Get a MagicJack Number ($20.00 a Year) that you can Change,,,grab your Laptop and set up near a Public Pay Phone (We still have them Here),,,and there are MORE options,,,im sure something here will "Fit" your needs

I don't think that's the most ideal option, at least not in the USA.

You can sign up for Flynumber and then simply use the call forwarding to call eBay. eBay will see your forwarding number as the number you're calling from.

I use Google Voice to call EB most of the time. I use a google account without a number attached to it. It works for me.

I made a mistake once when I called eB from a phone number that was attached to a suspended account to raise limits. Called twice in fact to raise limits and nothing happened, just lucky? Maybe...

If you really need to make that phone call just buy a $10 trac phone and use that...easy

@GB I use google voice for all my ebay accounts and when I call using my google voice number, it doesn't show up on the caller ID as the google voice number it shows up as the original phone number (Not the GV number) Does that mean I'm not using google voice properly o_O how do I get it to show up as the GV number?

Just log into your google email and make a outgoing call from your email account. You get free outgoing calls to the US and Canada. If you attach a google voice # to the email account then that is the number that shows up on everyone caller ID, dont do that.

If I dont attach any #, then the main google phone number will show on the caller ID.
