Email payment links
 

I used to accept payments for goods via links in emails. I would send some regulars on my list a email which would have various payment links that they could click to buy direct, this would go straight to PayPal.

If I were to re-do these links on my stealth account, can they tell which email address the message was sent from on the email ? As my email address would remain the same, and the IP the email was sent from. What sort of referral info do PayPal see when a customer clicks a buy now link within an email ?

Yes, PP would be able to pick up on this due to the linking of the email link & same ip address it came from.

This setup would link your real PP A/C to your stealth PP A/C.

Could PayPal though see my IP from the email I sent to the person ? So for instance, I send an email to John Doe which happens to have a PayPal "buy now" link in it. Would the person clicking that link reveal any info of me, who sent the email ? Or would it just reveal the IP of the person who is clicking the link in the email, given it will be on a different machine to mine that they are clicking it on ?

EB/PP will potentially 'see' this via same ip address & the web beacon & flash tracker cookies they use.

That PP payment link from your stealth is the same as your real PP A/C link ??? The email used for both accounts is the same ???

I sense you are creating potential linking in what you are doing.
