Going OVER eBay Selling Limit

For those of you that know what I am talking about, do you get flagged or automatically set for a review when you EXCEED your selling limit?

Like if you have a $5000 limit and have sold $8000 worth in a month, is it a BAD thing in eBay's eyes or are they/the system unaware of this?

I've done it a few times, nothing bad ever happened. But I can't say that is the case for everyone. But I have only went over a couple hundred dollars, not thousands.

I have done it and got a message stating if it was done in error please avoid doing it again. Yada yada...

Thousands might make the bots 'twitch'.

A one off should fly. Repeats?

Well as Sandy said it's a yada yada message.

Are you considering re-valuing your limits? :pop2:

On two occasions month to month on the same account and I passed my limit by $1200 and $1800, because I selling 2 high end laptops in the same month. It was a 3 months old stealth account.

I got the same general message by Sandy's and nothing really happened to the account. Today that account is my one my best ones I have. I went over the selling limit but I would not do it every single month.

When I withdraw the money, that was when Paypal called me to confirm it was me. Luckily the forwarding number was still active.

I think the best way is to learn how to avoid getting selling limit at all :)

Ahh I see...so our account probably does get flagged after you go over your selling limit by a certain percentage or something.

I currently have more than double my selling limit listed on eBay, but I am going to pull all my listings once I hit my selling limit to the penny bc don't wanna risk getting flagged or suspended.

Well I am capable of selling an infinite amount over my selling limit, but I don't think eBay would like it so I probably won't lol...

Repeating this will draw attention to your account.

Next time you wont get so lucky.

They were nice to me telling me not to do this, if I continued I bet the account would go down.
