Default Help with Web beacons, tracking, browsers

I have a question about checking emails and web beacons. My plan is to check emails from all accounts from my ipad. I use gmail app and i have xfinity app for comcast. I never use ipad for eb or pp ever to log in. Plan to use main computer to do tha buisness on different ips. Ipad or iphone for emails.

#1. Is it safe to do this with different accounts?

#2. How to disable images, and web beacons on ipad, specifically email apps.

Thanks.

Default What is the best browser to use and why.

I use firefox on my main computer, but use safari for ipad/iphone obviously. I read somewhere that safari has this private web browsing option, which i just selected. Whats the deal with that? Any ideas?

That was referring to iPhone and iPad not gmail web mail

Thanks for replying. Would that be the correct way to turn off the ability to load images with Google Web Mail though?

Does selecting emails to be displayed in plain text rather than HTML have the same effect?

Using an old device or text only email client might be ok too - my older Nokia N900's email client is text only with some eB email coming with attachments instead.
