slightly misspelling street address?
 

Could I get away with slightly misspelling an address to an extent that it

would read I30 G00ne St whereas it is actually 130 Goone St. I sent a letter

to it and recieved it perfectly however is there a chance that ebay could still

link me to the banned address; would I need to change the address even

more or is it easier to go with a random address.

Why don't you just use I30-A?,,,or I30 2nd Fl,,,or Suite 203

If you are not using it for buying then no need to even use the same street etc.

I will be opening a sellers account

That will be an easy fix then.

If you are not going to be buying then and decent change will do the trick.

It must not be like you had it above.

That should work ok, But Sandy above makes a Good Point, If the account is only for Sales then why worry about it so much,,,Returns?,,there are Creative ways around that

So what would happen when eb or pp send a letter to that address?? And dont ebay have a avs to go by so surely you couldnt do an apartment b if one doesnt actually exist?? :spy:

Im also thinking about buying some things early on to build feedback.

I understand that dont need an addy in same town for just selling, but how am i to get a legit addy frim a nearby town within 50 miles?

Ok, so if I was to buy a few things as well, could I simply spell the numbers.
e.g 130 Goone St
One hundread and thirty Goone Street

are you planning on buying then changing address? because you said is not just for buying though you want to sell later and the account address will get scrutinized, spelling out your door number or adding numerics instead of letters, looks sooo stupid, the seller will think wth...and so will paypal/ebay.

I would just get a box or add an A to door number or something similar and more normal looking....
