Stealth paypal account must be opened first, then ebay?

Hi,

Some of you say it is best to open your stealth paypal account first and then ebay - not other way around.

Why is that?

I have opened both at the same time.. is that bad?

rsot 05-22-2012 05:17 AM

Many combinations work - I won`t say why one way is better than another out in the OPEN SUBFORUM like this...subscribe and join the special closed subforums.

All the best.

Stealth paypal and ebay account opening rules

Could someone explain to me please if I have gone wrong by setting up Stealth ebay and paypal accounts (UK) at the same time?

Some of you say it is essential to open paypal account first followed by ebay. Why?

Thanks!

GreenBean 05-23-2012 07:22 AM

Each of us have different ways of going/being stealth.

You'll notice some of us say put all your ducks in a row etc.

I do paypal first. I verify & confirm that paypal. Therefore it's sitting there ready for attaching to an ebay account.

If I wanted to buy or if I wanted to sell then I'm 'ready'. Money side of the equation is sorted.

Down the (stealth) line it's practical to reduce troubles as much as possible. That's my reasoning :D

Info in this thread will help you too :D

magbob 05-23-2012 07:35 AM

Thanks a lot.

Once I know how to play their game I will be a Stealth accounts pro.
Hopefully...

I am using my business address that says 'offices'. There are about 70 offices in the building, do you think I could open multiply accounts using the same office address (different names, tel, etc)?

If there is anything I learnt by having pp account is that I need dozens of them to stay in their game.

I would probably feel safe with 3 verified ones :)

I only cannot imagine how I will go through changing IP all the time...

NoneOther 05-23-2012 07:45 AM

Using the same address, even with some different info is a link, think about it.

You will not get very far with being a stealth pro if you don't think and look for links between accounts.

As far as IP issues are concerned that is probably the easiest aspect of stealth to overcome.

You have a lot to learn and you need to research the forum thoroughly for the answers you need. Asking questions once you have an idea on how things will work will probably get you clarification. Asking questions that have been covered a thousand times before will probably not.

Good luck with your research.

I already found many many helpful answers but I am sure I still may ask questions that have been covered before. Sometimes you just cannot find the right answers or missed some of them.

IP easy with 1 ebay/pp account but not so easy with 5

With 70 offices in the building I am sure I am not the only one with pp/ebay account. We all share the same address.

NoneOther 05-23-2012 08:29 AM

As I said you have a lot to learn.

Offices are one of the worst locations for causing limitations. e/b and p/p are no fools.

I run over 15 accounts all from the same location and all with different IP addresses, never had a problem.

The answers are out there.

I understand you have them all registered at different addresses, correct?

Maybe I have got a lot to learn, but that does not demotivate me. I have done much more challenging things in my life than running stealth accounts. All can be done, it is just knowing how to play their stupid game.

NoneOther 05-23-2012 10:40 AM

Indeed all can be done (well almost all) with the right knowledge and execution.

If you can understand how I run 15+ accounts from a single location without any of them being linked in way, shape or form then you are learning.

May The Force be with you as you face these new challenges.

You will need it as you play their 'game'

You have to find out what way works for you best.

No one can pinpoint how or why accounts last other then the normal things that go into running a business correctly.

I sold items on 22 different accounts yesterday all from my laptop at home sitting on the lanai watching the waterfall.

It took me more then a year to catch on and I spent sometimes 14-16 hours reading here into the early morning hours for better half of my first year.

Demanding answers will get you nothing. None of us owe you an answer.

Most of us work extremely hard and have for years to learn and you demand answers right now?

Take some time to earn your knowledge as reading hundreds of post here can get you tons of info if you are willing to put in the time and give the effort.

Then hopefully you will then return the favor by helping others who are willing to earn the knowledge.

This rather upset me.
First of all you have no idea how much time I am spending trying to figure out the best way forward. Second of all, I never ever demand anything from people, here or anywhere else. You do not own me anything and I do not expect anything from you. I think we have enough problems with pp and ebay, let's not add to it.

NoneOther 05-23-2012 04:49 PM

Eh! Read you second post in this thread.

Sounded pretty demanding to most on here.

magbob 05-23-2012 05:12 PM

It was with a smile :)
Did not mean it like that.
We obviously do not know each other here, I am the last person on earth that demands anything. Honestly :)
I was not a member and could not get answers as people kept saying 'subscribe' so I subscribed and made this silly joke... do not look too much into it.

Maybe perhaps my English is getting worse...

Thanks for all your help!

Let's move onwards now :peace:

This is the same thing I do every single time. Why would I fill out the info twice?

Have a think about one of the major problems with brand new paypal accounts.
Have a careful think.
Then consider the benefits of not doing it your way ;)

magbob 05-25-2012 03:45 AM

I can see benefits of signing up for paypal first... but my way of thinking is if I screw up the new details with paypal and the account gets limited I cannot use the same details with ebay anyway... so what is the difference if I screw up both at the same time :)
Paypal and ebay share informations don't they... maybe only choosing the user name and all that will go to waste.

Unless I am wrong in my thinking :)
