Is it necessary to have an automatic payment method on eBay?
 

I'm a bit confused about this.
It is advised not to use automatic payment but one-time payment with VCC instead.
But on an eBay page, it says:
"Some common reasons for account restrictions are:
*You didn't set up an automatic payment method. Update your automatic payment method now."

So is it necessary to have an automatic payment?

I have selling limits at 18 now.
I wonder if adding an automatic payment would help in raising limits.

Most folk just add their Paypal account as the automatic reimbursement method.

You can add your paypal then make one time payments with your vcc until there is

enough money in your PP to pay your fees :spy:

One time payments are always good.

ebay changed their game about 9 weeks ago. (give or take)

They starting 'asking'for the automatic payment. Not been that many reports of accounts being fully restricted however.
A fully verified paypal account should be attached to a UK ebay sellers account in the 1st place.
A seller then has the availability of doing one off payments.

Standard requirement used be to operate a fully verified & confirmed paypal account with ebay. Some users do not work according to that & report selling limits.
Could be speculation to say adding the automatic payment would be of benefit to raise selling limits. :juggle:
