PayPal Pending Balance & Negative Balance
 

Ok, so my old PayPal account has a pending balance of over $4K from rolling reserve.

After my eBay acc was restricted, I have withdraw all the funds from PayPal. Now, a previous customer is looking to return an item which I have agreed to. If I tell him to open a PP dispute, I will then have a negative balance on my acc, will PP use the pending balance to cover my negative balance?

Always wanted to find out about this, someone please help!

Yes pp will use the pending balance or...if can't, might even go into your bank account.

What if I leave my bank account empty? It's only a saving account that's linked. Also I thought PP can no longer take funds from our acc without authorization anymore?
