The whole phone set up thing
 

Recently i've been getting calls from pp/eb*y more than i expected. Pretty much got a phone call on every single account now. Some were good phone calls some where bad. My #'s are very unorganized. Got numbers forwarded to my phone, my parents phones, my friends, ect.

Started doing the paylo way, but thats $15 per # and as far as i know the minutes expire after a certain amount of time right? So you have to buy more to keep the phone working. Or at least thats what i thought.

Does anyone mind sharing any online forwarding service that works flawlessly? I don't mind the pricing, i just want everything going into 1 phone and for it to be very organized.

Organized as in when someone calls you what do you expect to see? Ebays number, the phone number they are calling or what?

Organized as in i want all #'s to be forwarded to 1 phone. Right now i have them forwarded to like 5 different phones that i cannot always answer.

Any phone forwarding service does that, they will let you purchase any amount of numbers with them...

Yea, They do call a Lot more now,,,about seller Outreach, Promotions and other Sh^t,,,I have EVERYTHING Fowarded to my 1 Cell Phone,,,

THANK GOD that when they call they Start the call greeting the Same way " Hi this is &&&& calling from Ebay is $$$$ availabel?",,,

If it wasn't for that standard Greeting I would NEVER be able to tell which of my accounts they were talking about

I have my phones lined up and each has a sticker of the accounts they go with on the back of the phone.

Like you, it could be any of the 3 or 4 attached to each phone so it is a guessing game.

When I do get the call I just act totally stupid and act like I did not understand them and ask "Who are you calling for?" then I know and can get my trusty paper folder out to answer any questions.

I thought eb*y was really strict with these services and that most of them were blacklisted.

I have multiple accounts with the same name so sometimes i get a little nervous. In the past i've asked " may i know what is the account user ID you are calling about" and it has worked for me. It might seem to them like i have more than 1 but i don't think the reps go into it that much.

I like tossabledigits very cheap... And you can set it up so that the number they are calling shows on your caller ID.... Simply program the ebay name into your phone and walla when ebay calls it shows the user name on the caller ID. No guesswork... All forwarded in one neat package....

I tried the 3 numbers for every tracphone (2 gvoice + cell number) and that got out of control very quickly. Leaving the house with all those phones was :pout:

I now have a ton of forwarding # going to one pay lo phone. I add all my stealths to the phone book. ebay or paypall calls...
