Multiple Paypal accounts same name and Tax ID
 

I have 3 Paypal accounts on the same name and dob, different address. One is over 20.000$ for sure, the others are around 4000 - 7000$. They ask for Tax ID on all of them, so I'm thinking they are linked at this point.


Would they do something like report to the IRS for all three under one person? Like adding the transactions and sums together for all 3.


None of the accounts should pass the 200 item limit at the end of the year by themselves. 20.000$ limit will be passed for sure thou on each account. However all three together, might pass the 200 item limit.

Why did you make 3 with the same info?

This is a perfect example why not to do this.

They will add them all together if they are linked and you will get hit with the IRS paperwork on them as a total. Again, if they are linked etc.

For the length of time you have been here, you should have got a Tax Specialist to resolve this.
