CALLED EBAY TO Verfiy MY NEW ACCOUNT
 

Happened today, listed a broken psp on my new account within minutes it was pulled got the MC999 Your eBay account is restricted.So i called eBay got a nice lady on the phone, i played stupid and worried why the auction was removed. She explained that i was a new customer and need to be verified in order to sell. So people heads up be careful what you list on a brand new account to avoid this headache of calling eBay. I got lucky had someone that was nice usually get the a%*^*( that would want you to send in photo id. Short story my account was reinstated.

Did you list fresh - like new account, no feedback, right away?

Wouldn't it be logical to fully verify an account before selling.

Not sure if a PSP is considered high risk for a 1st item.

same thing happen to me this morning i called and got my account reinstated after answering there questions but my account is not verify yet..but this did happen to me on an account that was verify and i was still ask to call into ebay...and i was told that i could relist my high risk item...do you know if my restrictions have been lifted by this or am i just ok to list this one item again?

I reinstated you can now list as normal also the benefit of calling them now keeps them from questioning if your a real person.

Search verify for the credit card/vcc and bank account micro deposits etc.

Congrats... Its a nice little rush calling them. I get a kick out of it...

Usually I start with high risk items as my first listing just to test how strong the account is, MC999 means, that your behavior, ( starting price, auction or bin, shipping cost and method, Description, title) are similar to other who got suspended for the same item , and Ebay want to make sure that you are not the same person by verifying your ID.

Even if you will start with small item and after a month you will do the high risk item if your behavior is the same like the banned one you will get MC999, and many users here reported the same issue even after the account aged and sold small stuff.


If you can create your first listing for each item you sell in a unique way then you should be fine
