Need a little guidance and help on IP addresses

Just brought the Ebay stealth guide and am stuck on Part 2 lool.
I can't seem to change my IP address using any of the methods listed. I'm on O2 broadband so i was just wondering if anyone else is on the same broadband and could help me out?

Any decent information is appreciated.
Cheers x

The lease time on O2 IP addresses assigned to the router (MAC address) are almost indefinite therefore turning the router off and on does not change the IP address.

You need to either spoof the MAC address or use multiple routers.

The benefit here is that each account appears to have a static IP which keeps e/b and p/p very happy but you do need to be ultra careful not to get them mixed up.

If you have static IP, then USB dongle broadband is a good option

You could also try another provider....Sky & BT offer some dynamic services.

Alternatively theres always dongle's that give you a new IP each time you connect, only issue I've found with them is they can be slower.
