pay via paypal w/o knowing it?
 

I know you do not need a paypal acc to pay via paypal but just checking - does something from paypal always come up, eg. go via their site before you pay?

seeing alot of websites that take card via paypal and some require paypal login, but some do not seem to - and that could be dangerous......as it seems like regular card purchase via merchant...

could someone confirm

99.9% of purchases I've done have given the info that 'paypal' is involved.

However I dont agree it looks like a regular card purchase.

Onus is on buyer to know the payment source really.:mod:

I have heard of, but not seen. where if you have Paypal Pro you can set it up to take cards without the buyer knowing it is a Paypal process. Now more than ever we need to keep cards etc completely seperate from anything we use on Ebay & Paypal

couple of sites looking back, may have been culprits but unsure.....

what got me thinking was something I read, regarding not needing paypal acc to pay with paypal and also integrated carts, bit like G to the T described.....
