Will the Olympics affect International Mail INTO UK?

So... it's about 60 days to the Olympics in London.
I wonder how the international mail coming INTO UK will be affected.

Do you think international sellers should stay off the UK market for those few weeks?

If it does, I am toast. About 25% of my customer base is in UK and my worst experiences has been dealing with UK customers, not to forget also the best customers have been from UK.

BBC News - London 2012: Royal Mail warns of Olympics post delays

Absolutely there will be delays.

At present Royal Mail is attempting to infer it will be specific to London. Would be prudent to expect slow delivery over the UK.

This week 8 more packages to uk got delay and it looks the uk order have to stop for a while.

Hmm... bad news but expected.
And they are further increasing postage cost into London!
Don't think this applies to international mail though.

u.k customs will be at full tilt and our package under more scrutiny but i for one will be taking this opportunity to order a few larger orders.
