Phone numbers for new account

When you guys create a new account that wont be used straight away do you include a working phone number?

Its just my soho bill is gettin a little silly. I know i sound like a cheapskate here haha

Don't be cheap - it's not funny! Ha.

Always include a working number ESPECIALLY when starting out - business is business...you SKIMP here and there...you can expect PROBLEMS here and there.

If you spend time reading here you will find that to get started 10.00 will get you at the least 5 working numbers.

Having a working phone is part of doing business.

You also should note how many people lost money in pps because pp called them and the phone is no longer in service.

that sounds good sandy. i'm currently paying £2 a month or thereabout for each number. It adds up.

I won't always include a phone number that rings for me, but I certainly would always use a real#. Never a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one that doesn't exist.

Yea,,but for Every Phone line that cost you 2.00 a Month,,you are making Money,,,so Every phone number that you add, makes you MORE Money,,,I Just don't see the Problem with that.

As a Matter of fact if I currently had 10 Phone Numbers each making me money,,I'd look to add 10 MORE as soon as Possible

Think of the cost of these numbers as the cost of doing business, just deduct it from your expenses, surely you spend on packing supplies, etc. so think of your phone bill as another expense.

Active..... gvoice or paid forwarding numbers to prepaid
Sleeper.... gvoice initially, when I start using them I forward the gvoice to prepaid

Sandy,

From your earlier posts, you use multiple tracphones and no forwarding numbers correct? I know how to get 3 numbers per phone (2 gv + trac number).

How do you get 5 live numbers per phone

I think the OP asked about new accounts that wont be used right away, so they don't make money yet. Do you guys still add phone numbers for them when they are sitting?

Yes.

IMO any account should be set up properly from the outset. Any changes made a later stage may cause it to be flagged at some point.

Yeah you are a cheapskate.

You factor in the cost of a phone in your business plan. In your case you likely dont even have one.;)

WTFudge do everything half baked?

Set up correctly from the start.
Future stealth accounts should be sitting there bubbling away ready to go.
It's basic ground work.

If you were not 'stealth' what you would do?:boink:

Yes like stated expenses is just one part of running a business . No reference here but I dont see why some refuse to pay the small amount to be correct when the outcome is so much greater for those few dollars. I always feel you get out what you put in. that simple
