Can't use Green Dot VCC to pay Ebay fees? Chase Liquid?

I've studied this forum and found opinion dated 8/2/11 that Green Dot can be used to pay Ebay seller fees and opinion dated 12/19/11 that it no longer can. I recently attempted to use a fully verified with real data Green Dot card to pay the seller fees for a real data Ebay account (the data is either identical or has trivial differences). The result was an incomprehensible "Global error" page. I've found opinion that this indicates an actual denial, and also opinion that this is just a technical glitch that could be fixed by using a different browser. Can anyone make a definitive statement that Ebay is refusing to accept Green Dot to pay seller fees (perhaps based on my experience above)?

Secondly, Chase bank has just come out with a similiar product called Chase Liquid. Has anyone tried this or have an opinion on the general usability of such new products for paying Ebay seller fees?

Thirdly, what other VCC could I use to pay Ebay seller fees? I have no trouble having the account holder of record do anything.

Thanks to everyone who has ever posted in this forum.

Need to pay seller fees on one account, and would also like to know the latest on pre-paid debit cards that work ( vanilla visa, etc. )

@spam549, I will give you MY method for paying ebay fees...I use Paypal. To ME, it sort of says that I am legit and it makes sense to pay my fee's with paypal since ebay owns them. I am sure others will chime in on their methods, most have proven methods.
