paypal verification problem.

hi,whats the longest time you had to wait till you receive the 2 small deposit from paypal?

Ive made a paypal account 8 days ago and im still waiting for the 2 small deposit to confirm my bank account.

Do i get any email from paypal if my bank refuse to accept the payment's?

Ebayorbust 07-03-2012 01:05 PM

Was the bank RBS or NatWest? If it was then the recent problems with these banks would explain it.

If not then 8 days is a bit of a while to wait. Not really sure what to advise other than sit tight and wait it out a few more days.

GREEN LION 07-03-2012 01:14 PM

it was a mycashplus account(i did verify a paypal with mcp before)

I've read a few recent threads on the above no longer working. Have a search for them.

Lots of problems with this account of late. Well documented on here.

Better research required:pout:

wise comments from my friends north of the border

GREEN LION 07-03-2012 01:28 PM

I've already read them. The thing is i called mcp yesterday and asked them if I'm allowed to receive payment's from pp and they said , yes it's fine

what about email from pp?are they going to send me an email if a bank refuse the payments?

they_screwed_me_too 07-03-2012 01:31 PM

"allowed"

they may be allowed by MCP

but paypal may not allow it/like it

theres your problem

im sure MCP may be fine with it but paypal apparently arent

Spot on TSMT

P/P's game, their rules regardless of the intended recipient.

As I said, previously well documented here, where it really matters.

GREEN LION 07-03-2012 01:46 PM

@TSMT

you might be right. But in the pp it shows ''deposit sent''

they_screwed_me_too 07-03-2012 01:54 PM

it shows "insult sent" when you shout at mike tyson, but it soon comes back as a mistake

sent is not accepted

im confident it wont complete as there are well documented cases of the incompatibilities

i thought you thought these was the mutts nutts, last time we spoke about mcp

NoneOther 07-04-2012 04:15 AM

I have never ever used them nor have I to the best of my knowledge ever recommended anyone use them. I always advocate the use of basic bank accounts from the High St banks.

Must be confusing me with someone else Tiz

If the deposits dont get through, pp will send you an e-mail - maybe you will receive something today or tmrw. Keep us posted.

can you show me a WELL DOCUMENTED cases here?

do you have experience with MCP yourself or you are just repeating what you read in the forum?

@noneother why do you even talk about something you never experienced yourself?

like i said i already read all the threads about MCP and NO it was not well documented, imo :)

Paypal sent me the usual email regarding check your bank statement 2 days after i added my bank account.

but my question is ,do they send an email regarding your bank refused the funds or change your bank account ?

I have had such emails, at least 8 of them :pout:

@Greenlion - stop thinking from a biased point of view. People are trying to help you. Convincing people on here won't convince paypal. There are so many high street banks you can sign up with....that are easy - and working. Why bother with MCP

Because the research I have done shows them to be far from reliable when used with p/p.

I don't have to have used something to know that it will not reliably suit my purposes, that's what reading the forum, research and communication with other users has clearly indicated, so I can speak about it with confidence based on the knowledge I have gained as to it's suitability.

If your research shows otherwise then go ahead and use them but your experience so far would indicate that all is not as it should be.

Ok mant thanks for your help guys :)

GREEN LION 07-04-2012 11:59 AM
