Please tell me am doing it right
 

Just stumbled up on a thread by accident and it got me thinking.

My main eb legit account is run through the router I have (Virgin Broadband)

My stealth account I run off a 3g dongle new ip every time.

If I want to go on stealth acc and I am on main account I switch wifi off on my laptop then switch user , choose the stealth user name , log in (wifi is still switched off) plug in dongle , connect , open browser go to ipbgr to find out what ip is check it then proceed to log into eb.

When I have finished on there I log out of eb and anything else I have had open , disconnect the dongle , then log off that account then go back to main account which is logged on but wifi is switched off log into main account switch wifi back on and away I go

Does that sound correct or horribly wrong ?

I am patiently waiting for experienced members to chime in also and keeping my fingers crossed as I do the very same.. Could I possibly doubt myself more in life?? I was never less sure of anything --for the past two weeks. The more I read the more confused I get. Oy oy oy, if it doesn't get easier with time I am gonna hafta buy 3 more laptops and get 3 more solid internet service in the house since I have total of 4 accounts. Doable but wasteful . Ugh:confused:

Basically you are saying that you stay logged into 1 account while you log off and switch to other account.

Different IPs.

That`s FINE - I do that on the many accounts on 1 laptop. You are OK.

Hi rsot , yes thats what I do only stay logged into main account which is run through wireless router and when I switch to stealth I just turn wifi setting off on laptop switch user plug dongle in and crack on , when finished on that account log off EB disconnect dongle switch user back to main and turn wifi back on

Verify your IP and you are in correct user account - move on with your activity :)

Also a good idea to Use CC Cleaner to clear all cookies after logging out of the ebay account before switching Wifi off :)
