Creating Ebay Account with Smartphones
 

Hi I read somewhere that everytime you log into a ebay with a mobile device or smart phone it generates a new IP address each time after log out is this true?? let me know your thoughts...

Well you are on the right track. If you tether your smartphone to your computer iPhone or android you toggle airplane mode and poof new ip each time.

yes, phones use dhcp which provides dynamic ips.

so would it be good to create ebay accounts using a smart phone instead of my laptop?

You use your PHONE as a tether for your laptop.

The problem with using the phone is that once you create an account, unless you delete all cookies and flash beacons, etc...you will become linked.

Much better to create them with new user accounts on a computer. Tether the phone to your computer for ip reasons. Make sure to take note on ip's so there are no repeats on the wrong accounts.

You then can establish cookies and all that on separate user accounts so your eBay accounts are in good standing.

I previously used my iphone 4 on eb with the eb app. This was last fall, before i was suspended. I only used for bidding, etc. So fast forward now. I have not used the eb app for some time, i erased it once i was suspended..i use private browsing on iphone now have updated numerous times. My question is this. I am considering using my iphone for tethering to make more accounts on my laptop. I know the iphone changes ips, especially once putting in airplane mode then back..Is there a chance my new accounts can become linked due to my iphone being used before with suspended account? Any input helpful. Thanks.

Tethering --> connecting your PC to your phone, this way it will use your phone to connect to the internet. The best way is to use a "usb tether" from your phone to your PC.

Think of your phone as your ISP (Internet Service Provider). I do suggest though that you make sure to have a new IP and write down that IP when you create your Stealth Account.
