Paypal with only Bank acct attached
 

Ok so here goes hopefully I give all the information needed for the questions I ask, I have currently successfully setup a stealth ebay and paypal account, only about 5 days old now.
The paypal account is verified but only with a bank account, there is no credit card or vcc attached to it. I have made my first ebay sale and shipped the item. The sale was relatively large though about $1500. I was subjected to the 21 day hold but I have attached the tracking number and the packaged has been delivered so I expect for that hold to be released in about 2 more days.

The main question I have is in regards to withdrawing the money, Can I successfully withdraw any of the money to the attached bank account without worrying about becoming limited immediately, especially since I currently have no vcc attached. I know there is the 500 monthly withdraw limit. If I can withdraw without a vcc what is a safe amount to withdraw without becoming worried about limitation.

If I cannot and am required to add a vcc, I have done reading about green dot cards but my current understanding is that they require a ssn making them useless as credit cards. I suppose I can buy a avs vcc from a member here but I would like some feedback as to what is safe to do right now. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Honestly? Very unlikely.

The account is too new.
The sum TOO large.

Even verified with the VCC, it will most likely fail to get to your BA safely.

a fully verified pp has to age and have small amounts go through it to build up to higher amounts.

What will probably happen is, once the money is released from the hold, you will get ' your account is limited until we hear from you' message.

Or

If you try to transfer the money (in small bits or large sum) it will be limited permanently (they might ask for docs though) and you will have to wait 6 months...:ban?:

They will only allow you to withdraw the monthly 500 limit. You cant use the Greendot to verify cuz you have a stealth account. The address on the paypal account has to match the addy on the Greendot debit card. If both thing matched if you use that to verify. So mostly likely you would need a VCC.

Well, I did go ahead and transfer 450 dollars to my bank account, still with no vcc attached, it is showing as completed in paypal but has not yet hit my bank.....I will keep you posted as to the outcome....thanks for your replys

I believe in small amounts it would be ok.... I would break this into sbout 5-6 withdraw spread over a month. However you got those limits.

the 450 dollar deposit hit my bank this morning so all is good........will have to attach vcc now to withdraw the rest....:)

Yes.....I have actually done this multiple times however never attempted a withdrawal with only a bank account attached.....the 450 dollar withdrawal hit my bank with no problems, then I added a VCC and withdrew 1000 dollars with no problems.....it certainly appears to work...I'm very very careful with only allowing substantial ebay members to purchase my items and Im also very very careful regarding Ip addresses, cookies, and beacons. It has worked well for me so far Id say that Ive successfully done a 1500 dollar plus transaction as my first transaction on 5 day old accounts at least half a dozen times now.......:heh:

One more interesting fact....I setup my ebay account attached to my paypal account to avoid having to use another vcc....many members here indicate that is a big no no.....however Ive never had problems doing this....since then I have deactivated the automatic withdrawal agreement within paypal so ebay cannot automatically withdrawal my seller fees....and I have no account limitations or holds on either my ebay or my paypal account....both accounts are now 17 days old, I still have a small amount of money left so Im going to run an experiment and empty the account via withdrawal and see if a limitation occurs.....I will keep the thread updated...

Actually Ive done a 5000 dollar transaction once on a few day old account and had no problems at all, was able to withdraw all the money in one withdraw as well.....that surprised me....lol

You can't always assume your account will get limited if you withdraw a large sum of money. You're probably scared because you've done it in the past and been limited... but this is how it goes sometimes. Worst case scenario you'll get the money out in 6 months, so it's not like you lost it anyway.

Agree with First Ed. - have to take some experiment steps and hope sometimes.

Yes it worked out well , just have never done things in that order.....

You have to give advise on the whole process from starting your ebay/paypal account to doing the happy dance when you saw the successful transfer. With as much detail as possible because I definitely need your technique

Is it really necessary to withdraw so much at once..... I try to withdraw no more then $400 a shot 2x a day and just let it carry over and repeat everyday. I seems to work pretty good like this. Just an option...
