I have a stealthy PP account for which im afraid might get frozen if the buyer opens a dispute. Im thinking of just sending all my money to my real PP account and close the stealthy one, but Im afraid PP could just reverse the transfer and refund the buyer.

Im not actually even sure they can do that or they ever had done it. This happened before ? Anyone know of a case like that ?

sending all your money from one account to another is the oldest (and most amateur) way to get money out of a paypal account... really not recommended.

this isn't paypals first go around. They've been doing it longer than you have :)

Well sir than I must say they are silly. I did however transfer approximately 70% of funds to my real PP account today few days and ive already made 3 withdrawals so far Im just afraid I might not have time to withdraw everything


My plan is I guess to leave the account open and stall with dispute and hope they done reverse the cash until the dispute is over

You clearly didn't listen to what first edition was saying. You think PP is stupid? They are not going to link the two accounts now?

You just cant take money from one account and dump it another and all is well. People have been trying that nugget for many many years...

You've almost certainly killed your real account.

My suggestion with regards to you real account is to try to get some use put on it. Meaning buy a few small items on ebay. If there is any way you can get some other payments sent to you from other legitimate sources it couldnt hurt either.
Point is try to create some background noise that will make this payment you made seem less suspicious.
Not saying it is 100% going to save your account but it doesnt hurt. Pay pal like seeing money going out and making some fees on it so those transactions couldnt hurt.

My real account is well build imho. Ive used it with eBay for some time now, buying alot and selling also, mostly professional audio equipment, and anyone dealing with studio grade audio equipment can tell you its no small amounts here. Constantly 4digit numbers. Never had any problems with PP holding my account.


However I did once sell also audio piece with my stealth account (out of ebay) and it got limited immediately after I sent some funds of that trade to my real PP account. Ive talked with PP and ive been little creative and it all went great, both accounts got lifted. From that period and till now ive done even more transactions like that, big numbers, money forwarded from stealthy PP account to my real PP account IMMEDIATELY. All great so far.

I think they would reverse the transactions only in a case where they would firmly have evidence and signs its yours stealthy account. In my case I think they have none, purely because I move so much cash between accounts and nothing happened so far

they would not reverse it before a dispute as there would be no flag. If you wait til dispute is in then obviously that money will get held and is going nowhere.

as for it messing up your good acc..

wonder when they pull out big guns.

thing is non-direct links to other accounts like ip ranges or the fact you paid them once etc....they would not actually take money out and refund the dispute on different paypal from the possible linked acc, but they might limit anyway.......
