Paypal rang me – or was it?
Ok I had a call form Paypal last week, & its different when you ring in, you are asked all the security checks, but after the call I realised I told him my paypal address, but he didn’t go thru any more security checks. The call was to ask did I have 2 email address on the account, which I did only from recent to collect a cash back from a website that went to my home email, so no problem I explained that. Then he asked do I receive money from other paypal members – are they relatives or friends – I said yes relatives. So they do see my activity I usually transfer from 2 accounts into the one for bank withdrawal, so now I’m wondering is that a bad thing to do, I could of said it was for tax reasons, so my accountant checks it. But I’m thinking of withdrawing from each paypal account separately from now on? – what do you think.
Of course they already know how I trasfer.
What I found odd was that he asked – do I do a lot of selling, do I only use ebay, I said I have a new website I’ve only just started & he implied & said something like “Well its good that I sell somewhere else too, it would be hard if ebay wasn’t there”
I cant remember exactly what he said, as I knew I had to get back to bottling our home brew beer!!
The next day I thought I better ring paypal to double check it was them– anyway they couldn’t see it on their records that anyone called me.
& to report a strange lot of virus I got with phish/paypal in its name, so I sent a message about both issues, I’m awaiting a reply.
