Can ebay see your mobile phone number if you call them? Related to ebay help here!
 

So I managed to create my stealth paypal and business ebay account..done everything..now eBay tell me that they want me too 'ring them' as a business seller for a 'higher allowance'. What exactly does this entail and more importantly i did a search on the forums before posting this thread, but couldn't see any answer to..can ebay see your mobile phone number if you call them from with held on your mobile phone? This is what I wondered..

Of course they can, the ? is will they once you call them put a note on the account as its linked to said number.

some networks allow 141 or their equiv....or under phone settings you can hide id/number....just do not call paypal freephone number as heard they might see your number, becasue they are paying for call.....

i should have worded and titled this better..I am going to ring paypal from with held (using my phone's settings to with hold my number)..even though i ring ebay or paypal to do this on a direct number I have for them (not their 0800 rubbish) from my phone on with held..can they still see my number or not?

They usually pull info using a background check and ask you multiple choice questions.
It can be anything from previous addresses and relatives to the color of your eyes and color of your car.
Make sure to have ALL your info readily available when attempting this because if you fail it could mean an end to the account.
