Default Heads up for ppl who use non-working #'s

Last week i created 8 accs. Turned to sellers and so on. Out of the 8, 3 of them got phone calls within a few days of turning into seller. Nothing bad, just some info, advice, and to see how i am enjoying my experience on eb.

I think they are starting to call much more now so make sure your numbers work! That could have been 3 accs limited right there due to non working number.

( By the way i tried the i am driving and can't talk right now method. The lady stayed on the phone for another 5-10 minutes carrying on the convo with absolutely no concern about my safety. So if you guys use this method you might want to state that you are driving stick shift. That finally got her off the phone

I guess it was my turn. I never receive these calls. First time was these 3.

I had very recently posted a thread about ebays phone calls. I get a call about every 6 weeks or so. Normally, I let the answering machine do the talking, but this time I decided to pick up and talk.
I think at some point you should talk to the Reps. Not that I really care, but to say...yes this is XXX and I do live here.

Hmmm . . . this may be an issue for me since I use Google Voice (GV) and they only allow two numbers per "real" phone. Some of the GV phone numbers I have used are no longer viable. How do others handle telephone numbers for multiple eB accounts?

You can get mobiles with dual or triple sim card slots to help manage multiple accounts, so you dont have to have so many phones on at once.

The Nokia Dual sim 101 allows dual sim simultaneously.

Then there's the Babiken K9700 which does the same with 3 sims.

I usually buy at&t prepaids on Ebay for $9.95 and they come with 100 minutes and last 90 days. Every 90 days all you have to do is buy a $10 phone card.

Just did a search on Ebay for dual and triple sim cells and seen a lot of knockoff Android phones that run dual and triple sims. Don't know if there any good or not but might order one and find out...

I wouldn't know which US phone carriers that would allow the unlocked knockoffs to be used on their network......any suggestions of who would let you do that?

You can use those phones with any phone carrier that is GSM (runs on a sim card). Phone carriers dont block you according to what phone you use as long as you can insert a sim :D

eg. Tmobile, AT&T, Cricket, etc.
