Faxing my ID verification and info to eBay?????
 

I was asked 3 weeks ago to fax my ID verification (ID, bank statement, receipt) to eBay to raise my selling limits. I could only get around to it now, because I had to wait for my bank statement to come in the mail.

The account is not stealth..But will that raise any flags if I took somewhat long to send my stuff in? (3 weeks)

Also, how do I use Fax Zero to send it to them? I put everything in a .PDF file.

eBay gave me this as their info:

Attn: Merchant Vetting
US number: 1-801-206-7562
International number: 001-801-545-2700

But I have to fill out this, for the receiver's info on Fax Zero:

Name*:
Company:
Fax#*:

I'm in Canada - do I use their US number or international? And for the "Name" I enter "Merchant Vetting" am I right? And for "Company" can I put "eBay" or just leave it blank since it's not a *required field.

Sorry this may seem like a couple dumb questions..

I thought the information/documents eB requested had to be sent in within a rather short amount of time (a week or so) or the account would be permanently suspended. I have an @@@@ eB account that I opened last September that received a MC067 notice. I couldn't answer the questions and they asked for docs to be faxed. I was unable to get the docs and the account has been sitting. Can I still fax in docs to save this account?

They never gave me a time frame. I believe it could depend on the type of notice? I was coming off a 30 day suspension and my selling limits were at $0 so that's why I needed to fax this to them since I called about raising my limits. There was nothing in the e-mail that indicated a time frame. If they ask, I'll say that I've already tried faxing it and I'm not sure why they never got it.

If it's not a stealth account and actually in someones real name you got nothing to worry about!
